Whether its tree/shrub installation, site prep or site finish work, we have the capability to follow the project through its whole lifecycle, maintaining quality of appearance and service.

We meet with potential clients to discuss their needs for landscape design of their home or commercial area.  The consultation period usually can take approximately an hour or more.  After we have met with our potential clients a personal and professional design can be created for your new landscape if requested by the Client. After the design has been approved a detailed construction quote is prepared on approval of the design. This usually takes about five days and on acceptance of the quotation our team of skilled tradesmen undertakes the construction work.

Towards the end of the project a meeting is coordinated to discuss any technical and horticultural points of interest and to familiarize the client with the ongoing maintenance requirements of the garden.

Landscape renovation is an important part of home improvement. Even with conscientious trimming and maintenance, foundation plantings get over crowded after years of growth. Depending on how close your trees and shrubs were originally spaced, and what types of plants were used, this overcrowding could begin much sooner.
          
A current trend in our area is to over plant. While this style of planting creates an established look much sooner, it also creates a need to renovate foundation plantings much sooner. This is especially true when the wrong plants are used for plantings close to a house -- plants that grow too fast or large for their allotted space.

When is it time to renovate your landscape?

It often comes as a great surprise when clients learn that foundation plantings have a limited lifespan, and should be renovated once they are older. If the right trees have been planted in the right places in lawn areas, they can remain for much longer. It's the close proximity to foundations and sidewalks that create an earlier need for foundation planting renovations.
  
We can attempt to salvage whatever existing plants are still in good shape and will blend with new plantings.  Working with what can be salvaged and transplanting some plants and trees to fit in the client?s budget, we can create and capture the landscape that our clients requests? specifically.

Proper irrigation is a dynamic system, requiring full-perimeter water application and drainage. Neither of these objectives can be successfully achieved without the other, or without a thorough knowledge of available technologies and their proper use.

In the case of an existing sprinkler system, we?ll evaluate efficiently and make recommendations for upgrade to deliver the daily moisture it requires. 

Steps to follow.

For New Installation, proper watering of newly planted material is important to the short and long-term success of the landscape. Since we cannot be on-site daily after your new landscape installation, we must rely on the customer to ensure all material is watered daily for up to three weeks or until material has rooted.

So please make the necessary arrangements, which includes, yet is not limited to: sod, plugs, flowers, bushes, vines, trees, palms and ground cover. Limited warranties on plant material will be voided if visible drought stress is evident.

In order to limit the potential for loss we recommend the following:

1. Have irrigation system checked prior to installation.

2. Make arrangements to water plant material thoroughly everyday for the first 10 to 14 days. We highly recommend using a watering wand to water your plants once a day by hand with a hose, preferably in the mornings, to completely soak the soil through the root ball. Even with an automatic sprinkler system, water should be applied by hand to ensure that it is absorbed deeply into the soil.

3. Check plant material for rooting once per week and reduce watering accordingly.

4. Call us if you see any signs of decline so we can address any area of concern.

Whether it?s full service design, landscaping, or maintenance of tree/shrub installation, site prep or site finish work, we have the capability to follow the project through its whole lifecycle, maintaining quality of appearance and service.

Our company also provides a quarterly visit. It is up to the client to request the specific needs of what the visit
should entail. We can trim and prune back plants to promote new growth and blooms throughout the year, according to what the design is suppose to look like from the time of installation. Remove weed in bed areas, re-mulch, inspect for diseases, or check the irrigation system.
